How do you kick off a great DJ convention?!? With a wedding of the host and his now lovely bride. At Last Productions is so excited to have been able to witness the ceremony of Robbie & Julia.
Can I just say as a Chevy girl, I was so in love with this amazeballs truck!! If I could have taken it home I would have left right then with it. And yes, I would have had to keep the chilled spiked watermelon all to myself… so delish! Don’t worry there was unspiked too for the kiddos to enjoy.
The cake was gorgeous and delicious tasting too!
Dano is one of the liveliest DJ’s I have ever met! He is a party all by himself! He was one of the few amazing DJ’s that entertained during Robbie & Julia’s reception. I’m in such awe to be surrounded by such amazing talents.

Julia looked amazing in her layered lace gown walking up the hill to meet Robbie at the steps of the romantic Dickson-Williams Mansion. Their wedding was filled with moments of laughter and fun with tender looks, smiles and glances and declarations of love.
One of my favorite moments was when grandpa tried to cover the eyes of the little one during their first kiss as husband and wife.

Sometimes you think a wedding is just about the couple but it’s really about family. Sometimes that family is small and sometimes it’s large. No matter the size it’s all about YOUR new family coming together as one!!
At Last Productions was hired to create a monogram for Camarie and Alton but I got to sneak and witness their super sweet commitment to each other. I always try to carry my camera with me. Especially lately. Well because you just never know when you will want it or need it. And if I had a dollar for everytime I’ve said “I wish I had my camera”. Well I’d surely be a thousandaire.
I’m so excited that this day… I did have my camera!!!

We are so very happy to announce that one of our favorite couples are now Mr. & Mrs.!! As we waited for the ceremony to begin Anna walked in and… Oh Em Gee!! Her wedding gown was absolutely stunning and I had to grab a quick shot of her in the room. Anna was glowing with excitement and beauty. I’m so happy for them.
This is right before she walked down the aisle!
The room was one of our most amazing transformations! Contact Us At Last Productions today to talk about how we can bring your vision to life on your wedding day!!
Amazing Before & After
The centerpieces looked like mini aquariums and fit their water theme perfectly.
These were perfect for the décor!

At Last Productions had a great time working with some of our very favorite people, Dewayne and Cassandra of Unique Events. They provided exquisite table décor and florals for Nia & Jason’s wedding celebration. I love how beautifully our company compliments others – it never stops amazing me. I say all the time…. We are just a part of a couple’s wedding day, it takes everyone coming together with the same goal to make it fabulous.
We all began setup the day before the wedding. As far as us perfectionists saw it, the preinstalled pipe and draping just wasn’t there yet. We called on John at Moretz Production Service. At Last Productions has personally worked with him before and he really came through for us all in a major way. John provided the finishing touches on the draping around the room and additional setups for the guest entry way and pipe and drape to conceal two staircases that was so desperately needed. It’s in the details. Watching this room go from drab to fab was like watching a day go from dark to light.

Tonight we meet a stellar vendor – Desmond of Gardenia’s Custom Cakes. His creation for their wedding cake was simply jaw-dropping. He could easily be put into my top 3 wedding cake artists just with the visual alone. Unfortunately I didn’t get to partake in any cake and if you know me – I’m pretty upset over it. I LOVE my cake. However I did have some melt in your mouth cake pops. They were so sweet and yummy I went back for more (don’t tell anyone).

The catering staff of Paine College did an excellent job on the food and dinner service. They created two ice sculptures for the couple. A swan placed directly above their couple table and a huge heart on the dessert buffet. As a matter of fact, everyone we encountered, at Paine College went above and beyond to help in any way they could.

We had an amazing time celebrating with Nia & Jason. Everything was beyond gorgeous. I would say by the look on their faces they had a great time too!!

In 2014, At Last Productions is happy to announce that we will be featuring a few select couples. We are so excited to introduce you to Tiffany & Kevin!!
Meet Tiffany & Kevin ~
In 2007, while hanging out with a friend Kevin saw a picture of a group of women but he only had eyes for one. The ONE. He decided to pursue her. Kevin set out on a mission to get Tiffany interested by trying to strike up a social media conversation almost every month for years. Even after they were introduced in person at a party in 2009, Tiffany still wasn’t drawn in yet.
Two years after meeting Tiffany in person, Kevin sent her a message on Facebook that said “Hey, Happy New Year’s”. Tiffany didn’t know what enticed her to say hello that time, but she did. A friendship began to blossom.
A Christmas Eve while Tiffany prepared their Christmas dinner Kevin snuck up and stood behind her as she turned to walk out of the kitchen. Tiffany’s first instinct was to fuss at Kevin for sneaking up on her but then she saw a little box. Tiffany exclaimed “Oh my goodness!” Kevin told Tiffany he loved her and that she was the woman that he wanted to spend his life with. Kevin asked Tiffany to marry him and she said “yes!”
Several years prior Kevin and a friend were riding around downtown Augusta and Kevin said “I’m getting married there” as they went by Sacred Heart. His friend thought “uhhh, ok”. Somehow he knew something everyone else didn’t. Maybe it all started back to that day he saw that first picture of the ONE.
Tell us what you think and like about us ~
Wonderful! I work overseas so we were never able to meet in person prior to the day of the wedding so all of our correspondence was via telephone and email. They were always available when I needed them and they successfully executed our vision just by looking at pictures via email.
I loved their customer service. We had a pretty large time difference with Kevin and I being overseas but whenever I needed to ask a question, whether by phone or email, they quickly followed up. The day of the wedding there were a few vendors that I didn’t even see but Phillip made it a point to introduce himself to Kevin and I. We were both very impressed.
What’s your one thing you wished you would have done ~
To hire a videographer. My wedding planner suggested not spending the extra money because they haven’t watched the video from her son’s wedding 3 years ago and my coworker also regretted hiring a videographer for her wedding a few months before our wedding because she was disappointed. I now regret not hiring one because I’ve seen bits and pieces of the ceremony that guests recorded on their cell phones but I haven’t seen a good video of the entire ceremony which would have captured everything that I didn’t get to see as the bride.
Best advice EVER ~
Don’t stress out. Nothing will seem to go as planned but it will all come together and none of your guests will even know what went on behind the scenes.

At Last Productions LLC had such an amazing time sharing in the celebration party for Nathaniel & Dollie hosted by their children at the Gordon Club.
Uplighting by AtLastProductions.com
It makes me think what challenges and surprises we will see in our journey in our own marriage together. A couple like the Howards gives inspiration and hope that no matter what comes your way as a couple, that together you can overcome anything.
One of my favorite things was a beautiful magazine that was not only their program but it included their favorite things and their wedding day story.
Let us help tell your story. For your next event let us create a custom monogram that speaks of who you are.

Amazing Cake Spotlight and Table Lighting
Check out what happens when we add lighting to an ice sculpture! Everyone seemed to really love it. Guests took pictures in front of it all night long. Even when we were breaking down our equipment and turned off the lights we still got requests to turn back on the lighting so guests could get a few more snap shots. We were happy to oblige.

Everyone had a great seat no matter where they were because River City Video Productions broadcast all the speakers and action real time on a huge projection screen and on tv screens around the room.

I have gotten a few questions about what exactly is a digital negative. So let’s take a closer look at what that means.
Back in the days of film when you dropped off that 35mm (or for me… 110 film) with every roll that was developed you received a copy of the negative. This was used for archival purposes and if you needed to obtain a print you had to have the negative.
A Digital Negative is simply this: The unedited photographic digital capture of subjects in color or black and white.
For those clients that do have digital negatives included with their package they are, as needed, balanced for color and exposure.
Below is an example of a Digital Negative:
Digital Negative
So how does that compare to an Enhanced Edit and WHY are you charging extra for that?
Well because capturing those amazing moments is just a part of what I do. Transforming those images into feelings, thoughts and ideas takes time and vision. I am only asking that for the hard work and long hours that I spend making that image perfectly representative of what I love and cherish that I be fairly compensated.
I as an artist, woman, wife and mother choose the images that most speak to me and that show the most emotion and feelings from our time together.
Below is an example of an Enhanced Edit:
Enhanced Edit
Those days of film have long since passed us by. But it is very important to understand the importance of archiving digital files regardless if it is a digital negative or an enhanced edit. I urge you to print your most favorite images, show them off and display them proudly in your home. Keep your archival process updated as fast as there are advancements in technology.
These files hold your most treasured memories. If they are there unprotected, they can and will be lost forever.
We were so excited to work with some amazing vendors at Brittney and Joshua’s wedding at the Gordon Conference and Catering Center on Fort Gordon, GA. We are so fortunate to be able to work with other professionals that share the same goal as us…. to create something beautiful and special for a couple as they begin their amazing new life together.
We got the pleasure to work with Dewayne of Freelance Floral Design and see some of his beautiful creations. We can’t wait to see what he does at our next event together.
If you’ve ever read any of our blogs you know I have a strong affection for the sweet stuff! I was doing a little happy dance (and not just on the inside) when I saw the guys bringing in the cake by Jennifer’s Cakes. She is my absolutely favorite cake artist.
Ashley & Scott shared a very special dance with their parents. Ashley honored her father with the first part of the song, then Scott honored his mother with a dance during the second part and lastly they both danced with their parents until the song ended.
It’s so awesome to have have a couple that knows how to have fun & enjoy themselves. Towards the end of the reception Phillip had a crazy idea! Check it out here!!! Shaking it with Ashley & Scott
