I was lucky enough to win some tickets to the Braves game and took the hubs, my sister Lou and nephew Jack.

I really LoVe my nephew…. he is a mess!!

This was my first time ever seeing the Braves in action. My hubby hadn’t been to a game in a very very very long time. I only stress that because I heard the story over and over and over and I think it was used as an angle to get something he wanted. More on THAT later.

Sunday was a beautiful day the sun was shining and there were just a few beautiful clouds lingering in the sky.

The Braves tried their hardest but the Mets were a tough competitor and spanked them. Everyone wants to see a winning game and for those rooting for the Mets-that was their winning game.

Now don’t get me wrong-I’m not a Brave hater or a Mets fan. But all the tomahawking in the world wasn’t going to win that game for the Braves.

We got to see a couple of super cool things – a guy right down from us caught a ball thrown into the stands but the most awesome was a special tribute to a soldier. To see everyone stand and honor him was a sight to see. Our soldiers just like our police officers are usually greatly underappreciated. To take a few moments to recognize this hero was the least WE can do.

So back to my Hunny Bunny… and how long it had been since he had been to a game. So he really really really wants a jersey. And No, it can’t be a regular jersey. So being the best wifey – I let him get the custom. When he asks me what number he should be put on it – I said It has to be number 1!! Because that man… oh is he ever, MY number 1! What good is a super cool jersey if you can’t show it off. So of course I had to get a few shots of him in it at the stadium.

And because HE is a rockstar hubby, he took me to IKEA and bought me a table and a couple of chairs for our eat in kitchen. We now have a place to sit and have dinner together and I am so happy. I. Am. So. Happy.
